Technical Disclaimer & Terms of Use

Last updated: January 06, 2026

1 Nature of Service

Sifty is a technical metadata management tool and proxy service. Sifty does not provide, host, aggregate, or distribute any media content, television channels, or streams. It is an empty technical framework designed solely to help users organize and filter their own independently acquired, legal M3U or Xstream credentials.

2 Zero-Content Policy

No media files, video data, or streams are stored on, or transmitted through, Sifty servers. Sifty operates via HTTP redirection; when a user initiates a stream, the service provides a temporary redirect to the user’s third-party provider. The actual data transmission occurs directly between the user’s device and the user's third-party content provider.

3 Legal Compliance (DSA & CJEU Precedent)

In accordance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and the precedent set by the European Court of Justice (Case C-426/21, Ocilion), Sifty acts as a neutral intermediary providing technical infrastructure. As Sifty does not initiate the transmission, does not select the receiver of the transmission, and does not select or modify the information contained in the transmission, it maintains "Mere Conduit" status.

4 User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that the URLs and credentials they input into Sifty are legally obtained and that their use of such content complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Sifty does not verify the legality of user-provided sources and assumes no liability for the content accessed via third-party providers.

5 Intellectual Property

Sifty does not bypass any Digital Rights Management (DRM) or technical protection measures. All channel names, logos, and EPG data displayed within the app are metadata provided by the user's external sources and remain the property of their respective copyright holders.
